Screen Printing

Vibrant, bold, and incredibly durable. The industry standard for high-volume apparel decoration and team uniforms.

The Professional Standard

Why Screen Printing?

Screen printing involves pushing specialized inks through a woven mesh stenciled with your design. It remains the gold standard for custom apparel because of its unmatched color vibrancy and its ability to withstand hundreds of washes without fading.

Vibrant Ink Density

Because the ink is applied thicker than digital printing, the colors "pop" even on dark-colored fabrics.

Industrial Durability

Once heat-cured, the ink bonds to the fibers, making it resistant to peeling and cracking over the life of the shirt.

Superior Bulk Value

Screen printing is incredibly efficient for large runs. As your quantity goes up, your price-per-shirt drops dramatically.

Garment Selection

Matching Ink to Fabric

A great print starts with the right canvas. We help you choose the ideal material based on your design and end-use:

  • 100% Cotton: The classic choice. Absorbs ink beautifully for a bright, opaque finish.
  • Tri-Blends: Perfect for a "vintage" look. These shirts are ultra-soft and allow for a lighter ink deposit.
  • Performance Polyesters: Requires specialized "low-bleed" inks to prevent the fabric color from tinting the design.
  • Fleece & Hoodies: We adjust our mesh count to ensure the ink sits perfectly on the heavier texture.

"We ensure the ink chemistry is perfectly matched to the fabric for a print that lasts."

The Printing Journey

Step-by-step through the professional screen printing workshop.

01

Color Separations

We take your Vector Art and break it down by color. Each color requires its own film positive and its own unique screen. This is why "spot color" printing is so precise.

02

Screen Exposure

We coat mesh screens with light-sensitive emulsion. Using UV light, we "burn" your design into the screen, creating a perfect stencil for the ink to pass through.

03

The Press Run

Garments are loaded onto our carousel. Inks are squeegeed through the screens with exact pressure. For dark shirts, we print an "Underbase" of white ink first to ensure the top colors stay true.

04

Heat Curing

The most critical step. The printed garments travel through a high-heat conveyor dryer. This "cures" the ink, chemically bonding it to the fabric for permanent durability.

The Pricing Grid

Screen printing pricing is based on a "Quantity vs. Color" grid. Because each color requires a unique screen and a separate setup on the press, the more colors you have, the higher the setup cost.

Volume Tier Turnaround Price Value
24 - 48 Pieces 10-15 Days Standard
72 - 144 Pieces 10-15 Days High Value Tier

Setup & Screen Fees

There is a one-time "Screen Charge" per color in your design. This covers the labor of preparing, burning, and cleaning the stencil. On large runs, this fee disappears into the unit cost—making screen printing the most affordable option for bulk apparel!

The Vector Foundation

To burn a screen, we need a "film positive." To create a film positive, we need Vector Art (.AI, .EPS, .PDF). Vector files allow us to separate each color into its own layer with razor-sharp edges. If your art is blurry (Raster/JPG), your print will be blurry.

Always provide Vector files to ensure the highest quality results.
