Laser Engraving

Unrivaled precision and permanent branding. The sophisticated choice for metal, wood, glass, and leather merchandise.

Permanent & Precise

Why Laser Engraving?

Laser engraving is a subtractive manufacturing method that uses a high-powered light beam to physically remove the top layer of a material. This isn't just a surface print—it is a permanent mark that will never fade, peel, or wash away. It is widely considered the most "high-end" decoration method in the promotional industry.

Lifetime Durability

Because the design is etched into the product, the branding lasts as long as the item itself. Perfect for outdoor gear and daily-use items.

Microscopic Detail

Laser beams can achieve finer details than a needle or a silk screen, allowing for incredibly crisp small-text and complex logos.

High Perceived Value

Customers associate engraving with premium retail quality. It elevates a standard gift into a cherished corporate keepsake.

What to Expect on Your Product

Laser engraving creates different "looks" depending on the substrate. We help you choose the right product for your desired outcome:

  • Anodized Aluminum: The laser removes the color to reveal the bright silver metal beneath.
  • Stainless Steel: We use specialized CO2 or Fiber lasers to create a permanent, high-contrast dark mark.
  • Wood & Bamboo: The laser "burns" the wood, creating a rustic, varying depth and tone.
  • Powder-Coated Drinkware: (e.g. YETI/Tumblers) The laser peels back the coating to show the steel below for a stunning finish.
  • Glass & Crystal: Creates a "frosted" etched look with beautiful light refraction.

"We calibrate our lasers to the specific density of your item to ensure a perfect etch every time."

The Engraving Journey

How a beam of light becomes a permanent part of your brand.

01

Vector Programming

We take your Vector Art and convert it into a "path" for the laser. We determine the speed, power, and frequency settings required for the specific material of your order.

02

Jig Construction

To ensure the logo is perfectly centered and consistent across hundreds of items, we build or use a custom "jig"—a template that holds your product securely in the laser bed.

03

The Lasing Run

The laser travels across the item at lightning speed. For round items like water bottles, we use a Rotary Attachment to rotate the product as it engraves for a full-wrap effect.

04

Clean & Inspect

The engraving process can leave "dust" or residue. We hand-wipe each item and perform a final quality check to ensure the etch depth is consistent and the logo is flawless.

Engraving Costs & Volume

Engraving is priced by the location and quantity. Since there are no inks to mix or screens to burn, the setup process is faster than screen printing, making it an excellent choice for both small and large runs.

Benefit Timeline Pricing Model
Individual Personalization 10-15 Days Per Location
Batch Production 10-15 Days Tiered Discounts

One Item or One Thousand?

Because laser engraving is a digital-to-physical process, it is highly efficient for orders involving "Variable Data." This means we can engrave 50 water bottles with your logo, but put a different individual name on each one. Ask us about personalization options!

The Requirement: Vector Art

A laser is essentially a plotter that follows a line. To get a perfect etch, we require Vector Art (.AI, .EPS, .PDF). Vector paths tell the laser exactly where to turn and stop. If we use a photo (Raster/JPG), the laser has to "dither" (dot-by-dot), which rarely produces the high-contrast professional look our clients expect.

Vector files are the only way to ensure the laser beam follows the exact geometry of your branding.
