Credit Card Policy

 

Dear Clients,

 

I am sure you are aware of the recent news regarding the escalation of credit card fees charged to merchants.

 

In an effort to recruit new customers, credit card companies have increased their subscriber benefits and in turn have increased the percentage charged to the host merchant.

 

These increases in host fees have forced Apple Valley Promotions to modify its credit card policy.

CREDIT CARD POLICY CHANGE

1. All credit card transactions must be set-up with our Accounting Dept. using a Pre-Authorized form for all orders to be charged at "Billing".

 2. Any decision to pay for the order by credit card after the order is shipped will result in a 3%-5% fee, depending upon the credit card used.

3. As of the writing of this letter, Apple Valley Promotions will accept Basic Visa and Basic MasterCard will incur a 3% surcharge (5% if payment is initiated after billing).

 

5. Since credit card companies are developing new, enticing promotions which cause higher hosting fees, Apple Valley Promotions reserves the right to react to these higher charges by incurring a surcharge of the appropriate amount.

6. Our sales contracts have always been based on payments of cash or cheque.
